Creator Agreement

The deal between you and PRESNT, in the words we would use out loud.

Last updated 23 August 2026.

This agreement covers earning on PRESNT. It sits alongside the Terms, which cover using it at all, and the Privacy Policy, which covers your data. Where this page and the Terms disagree about money, this page wins.

The short version

You set your price. A guest pays it before you ever pick up. You keep 90% of your price. We keep 10%. Card processing is paid by the guest on top, at cost, so it never comes out of your share. If you end a call early, your guest gets everything back and you earn nothing from it.

You are not our employee

You are an independent contractor running your own thing. You decide whether to go live, when, for how long, what to charge, who to accept and who to block. We do not set your hours, assign you guests, or tell you what to talk about. Nothing here creates employment, partnership or agency, and you are responsible for your own taxes, insurance and any licences your work needs.

What you are paid

Your price is the number you set for one block of time. When a guest buys a block, the money splits like this:

  • You get 90% of your price.
  • We get 10% of your price. That is our entire revenue from your call.
  • The guest pays card processing on top of your price, at cost, shown to them before they pay. It is not deducted from your 90%.

Extra time works the same way. A guest who buys another five minutes pays for it separately, and you keep 90% of that too.

Every call in your history shows what the guest paid, what we took and what you earned. If those three numbers ever fail to add up, that is a bug and we want to hear about it.

When you are paid, and when you are not

Payment is taken when the call actually connects — not when a guest asks for one. A guest who books and never shows costs you nothing and pays nothing.

These are the rules, stated as plainly as we can:

  • The call runs its time. You are paid.
  • You end it early, with real time still on the clock. The guest is refunded in full and you earn nothing from that call. This is deliberate. Somebody paid for ten minutes; if they get four because you hung up, they should not be charged for it.
  • You end it in the last stretch, once the paid time is essentially delivered. You are paid in full.
  • The guest leaves first and you end it after. You are paid in full. You were there.
  • The call lasted under thirty seconds. Full refund, no earnings. That is not a call.
  • You disappear mid-call. Full refund, no earnings.

There is no partial refund anywhere in PRESNT. Either the whole call is returned or none of it is.

Getting the money out

Payouts run through Stripe. Before you can be paid you must complete their onboarding, which includes verifying your identity — a legal requirement for us, not a preference. Until that is done you can still take calls and your earnings are recorded, but there is nowhere to send them.

Your bank details go to Stripe and never to us. We can see whether you are verified and what we owe you. We cannot see your account number.

Chargebacks and money taken back

If a guest disputes a charge with their bank, the bank can reverse it, and that can happen weeks after the call. Where that happens we may reverse the matching payout. We will tell you when it happens and why, and we will not do it quietly.

If your account is closed for breaking the rules, earnings already owed are still paid out, less anything attributable to fraud or chargebacks.

Tax

You are responsible for your own tax. We report what we pay you where the law requires it, and you may need to give us or Stripe a tax identity before we can pay you above certain thresholds. What you owe on it is between you and your tax authority.

Your calls, your content

Calls are not recorded. Video and audio pass directly between the two of you and are never stored on our servers. We keep that a call happened, how long it ran, and the money — nothing of what was said.

Your handle, display name and profile image are yours. You give us permission to show them to someone opening your link, which is the whole point of the link, and nothing more.

Who you have to take

Nobody. You accept or decline each request. You can block a guest from the end-of-call screen or from Settings, and a blocked guest cannot book you again. You never see their email address; we handle the blocking so you do not have to hold their details to enforce it.

What we ask of you

  • Be the person on your profile.
  • Be 18 or over.
  • Keep calls free of sexual content, and of anything illegal. PRESNT is for sessions with a subject — advice, coaching, lessons, reviews, questions answered. It may not be used for dating, or to sell personal company, time or attention as such.
  • Do not record a guest without their consent.
  • Show up for the time you sold, or refund it.

Ending it

You can stop at any time — go offline, or delete your account from Settings. Deleting ends any call in progress and settles it immediately.

We can end your access if you break these rules, and we will do that before arguing about it where somebody's safety is involved. Money already earned is still yours, on the terms above.

Changes

If we change the split, the payout rules or anything else that decides what you earn, we will tell you before it takes effect — not in a changelog you would have to go looking for. Changes never apply backwards to calls you have already taken.
